Another day, another adventure awaiting us!
Here's the view from our 11th story room....
Don't worry, there was greenery as well.... a little!
What would a visit to NYC be without some shopping!
And the Catholic cathedrals were really gorgeous. Although it was the first time Aniva has actually been inside one so old. She didn't realize how dark they can be inside and the Phantom of the Opera style organ music didn't help the mood much either.
We didn't hang around too long....
We had to pick up the special "GOODS" from Repro Labs.
David, I've NEVER felt so close to you! LOL
But SHE on the other hand was all smiles as the big day was approaching....
A stop by Rockefeller Center was also a must do on the list....
And we were just in time for the Dominican Day Parade.
There was a LOT of whistle blowing and music. If you enjoy people watching you would've been in Heaven, cause there were some interesting folks out celebrating! But no worries, this wasn't the Puerto Rican Parade so the women were safe, LOL!

No wonder I was over 10 pounds returning home....
And my first subway ride in New York was a lot of fun. Thank goodness for my sister, cause without her I would still be lost somewhere in the Bronx!
